Nicki Minaj is having a really awful week.
The Brooklyn-raised rapper mourned the death of her cousin Andre in a tweet posted Tuesday, writing, "RIP to my cousin Andre. Sending love to my fam in Trinidad. He was in the PTA vid barbz...life is so precious. Don't take it for granted."
Andre is the second cousin Minaj has lost in the past two years, as her cousin Nicholas Telemaque was shot and killed in Brooklyn in the summer of 2011.
The news comes the same week that Star magazine published an article claiming Nicki's longtime boyfriend Safaree Samuels cheated on her with a former adult actress. Samuels responded to the report on Monday, writing, "Jus Found out a tabloid is trying to print a negative false story on me dis week Dnt yall got way more famous ppl to Worry about???"
Yikes.
