Justin Bieber wants everyone to know he's growing up. He's looking to Miami Vice for style cues. He's got a pet snake named Johnson. Oh, and his voice has changed, making him much more capable of pulling off a thumping slow jam.
Before he hit the red carpet at the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards on girlfriend Selena Gomez's arm, the Biebs unveiled his latest project, a remix of Drake's "Trust Issues" on Sunday, The track showcases Justin's new lower register, a fact that hasn't gone unnoticed among Justin's many hormone-addled fans. OMG PUBERTY! Bieber doesn't quite sound like a man yet, but he no longer sounds like a cartoon character.
Bieber was sure to change some of the song's racier lyrics, as his fanbase isn't quite ready to imagine their hero sippin' and smokin' and not trusting "b**ches." In time, Justin. In time.
