Ellen DeGeneres Tweets Her Way Into Kim Kardashian's Wedding

(Getty Images)Ellen DeGeneres just found a novel way to slip past the thick velvet rope surrounding Kim Kardashian's wedding this weekend. Fortunately for the talk show host, Kim checks her Twitter often.

On Thursday night Ellen tweeted: "No invitation to @KimKardashian's wedding yet. #WorstThingInTheWorld." About an hour later, Kim saw and replied: "Of course u are invited!!!! COME!"

Of course some of Kim's extended family might take the off-hand invite as a slight. Yesterday it was reported that Kim had to cut 50 people from her overflowing guest list because of space constraints, and some of those were on step-dad Bruce Jenner's side of the family. Perhaps Kim felt obligated to invite Ellen since she used to own the lavish Montecito, CA, mansion where the wedding is taking place. The estate is currently owned by Google CEO Eric Schmidt.
