Taylor Swift Hangs out with EX's Family

My Girl, Taylor Swift, had an eventful Monday! The Nashville-based singer-songwriter was in New York City to attend the 2012 Ripple of Hope Gala at the New York Marriott Marquis, where Rory Kennedy presented her with an award for her demonstrated commitment to social change. 

Swift didn't have to pull out her signature "surprise face" for the Gala award, as the Kennedy family had been planning the event for months — since the days when Taylor was romantically involved with one of their own, in fact. But 18-year-old Conor Kennedy was not present, presumably because he's still in high school, so Swift managed to avoid any awkward encounters. Shortly after the ceremony, Swift changed clothes and headed to a One Direction after party, leaving her ex-boyfriend's family behind in favor of a hot British boyband. 

Later in the evening, Swift and her rumored beau Harry Styles were spotted holding hands as they headed into the Hudson hotel, where they may or may not have indulged in some karaoke. As Styles is only 18, this is probably one of the few late-night activities these two can legally partake in together. At least on this side of the pond, anyway.
