Lindsay Lohan Planning to Stay Out of Trouble on New Year's Eve

While Lindsay Lohan isn't usually one to miss a party, or an excuse to spend an expensive night at the Chateau Marmont, sources tell TMZ the star is planning to have a low-key New Year's Eve this time around. 
The actress, who's had a doozy of a 2012, reportedly wants to steer clear of any and all trouble while ushering in 2013. In the past, she's partied in St. Barts, Italy, and plenty nightclubs on New Year's Eve. Now, she's apparently planning to start the year off with a clean slate, especially so she can impress the judge at her upcoming hearing. 
Sources say Lohan will be having a quiet meal out and then she'll return to her pad for the countdown with close friends and family members. No clubbing and especially no booze. Break out the sparkling cider, everyone! 

Here's hoping for a happy, healthy 2013 for the often-troubled star.
