Miley Cyrus to Get Her Outlaw On in 'Bonnie & Clyde' Miniseries

Miley Cyrus is getting her bad girl on. She is headed back to the small screen again, but don't expect any clean-cut Hannah Montana-style shenanigans this time around. The actress, who recently appeared on the season premiere of Two and a Half Men, is in talks to star as Bonnie Parker in a Lifetime/History miniseries about the infamous Bonnie & Clyde (via The Hollywood Reporter).

Bonnie Parker & Clyde Barrow were a pair of outlaws who became known for their brazen bank robberies during the Great Depression. Faye Dunaway played Bonnie in the well-known 1967 film, Bonnie and Clyde, which puts Miley in some pretty good company. Lifetime is also behind the Lindsay Lohan comeback vehicle, Liz & Dick, while The History Channel made a splashy push into scripted miniseries territory with its highly-rated Hatfields & McCoys. There's no word on who might play the Clyde to Miley's Bonnie, but we're drafting an online petition for Liam Hemsworth as we speak.
