First Miley Cyrus showed her 5 million Twitter followers a big ol' diamond on her left hand under the guise of showing off her new manicure. Then, she displayed the same ridiculous rock Saturday night at Muhammad Ali's charity event. Now, of course, there's some serious buzz that suggests Ms. Miley and beau Liam Hemsworth are headed for marriage.
Cyrus, 19, and Hemsworth, 22, have been dating since about 2009. They broke up briefly in August 2010 but didn't waste any time getting back together. Now, it seems like the two are inseparable. For example, at the premiere of Hemsworth's wildly popular new flick, The Hunger Games, the starlet announced that "the hardest part for Liam was being away from me."
Cyrus made no mention of an engagement Saturday night at Ali's Celebrity Fight Night in Phoenix, but she definitely didn't hide the bling either. It was front and center in many of the photos snapped of the couple during the event, and you couldn't help but notice it glimmering as the singer held the mic when she performed onstage. Plus, she didn't turn off her giant smile all evening.
Unnamed, questionably reliable sources have also speculated for quite a while that the relationship was headed in the marriage direction. "They're still keeping it a big secret, but they're seriously talking marriage. Liam is crazy about her! Miley wants the whole nine yards as far as a big wedding goes," the insider said.
