You may call it wacky and zany, but this year’s edition of the annual Best of Nollywood (BON) Awards, holding on November 11, will reward thespians with the best kiss in a movie.
Making this known recently was the Brand Manager of BON, Funmi Adeyina, who further explained that the whole essence was to elevate standards, excellence and hard work in Nollywood.
“We have decided to add some sparks of excitement to the event this year by introducing the best kiss in a Nigerian movie category. The category has some strong contenders which include: Uche Jombo and Kalu Ikeagwu, in Damage, Odunade Adekola and Toks Oke, in Booku, Tonto Dike and Muna Obiekwe, in Dirty Secrets, and Majid Michel and Genevieve Nnaji, in Bursting Out.
Adeyina further urged fans to visit www.bonawards.com and vote for their best kiss by a duo in any of the above movies. With 190 movies submitted, the stars will slug it out for the 28 available categories. It will be hosted by Ini Edo and Tee A.
